This is a concrete realization of the animation shown in the “PEIS Ecology Concept” video: a smart home recognizes a guest and brings him a drink, in a fully autonomous way. This is obtained by the cooperation of: (1) fixed cameras in the ceiling, (2) a butler robot capable of face recognition, (3) a moving table, and (4) a robotic refrigerator. The project was made by the students of the International Master program in Robotics and Intelligent Systems at the University of Örebro, Sweden, in Fall 2008.
